But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep, the Thursday Murder Club find themselves in the middle of their first live case.
Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.
Can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer before it’s too late?
Without sounding like my eleven-year-old, OMGEEEEEEEEEEEE!
This book absolutely blew me away! (I was going to say something a bit more me but it’s way too crass to be included in a book review!).
I read this book in just over a day because I couldn’t put it down. Everything about it is brilliant from the way it’s written and the mystery itself, to the absolutely wonderful cast of characters.
If you haven’t read this book yet, clear some time in your diary (you’ll need it because you honestly won’t want to put it down once you get started), make a cup of tea and dive in!
I can’t wait to read more in this series.
I intend to read this Katie. I have listened to a few chapters on audio but the. Narrator was too slow and irritating although it was enjoying how the story unfolded. I’d like t owning pthrough it at my own speed, I think.
I really hope you like it. I’m quite fussy with the audiobooks I listen to. I have to really love the narrator or, like you, I’ll turn it off!
